SEMINOLES KNOCK OFF INDIANA BREAKERS IN BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH

The Hammond Seminoles (10-11) defeated the 15U Indiana Breakers at home Tuesday night by a score of 2-1. Frank Podkul's (Andrean) 2 out infield single between the shortstop and third baseman in the bottom of the 7th to drive in Jonathan Azar (Munster) was the Noles' third walk-off win of the summer. Azar got the start on the mound and gave up an unearned run in 2 innings. Dvorscak (Whiting) threw the third and fourth innings striking out 2 and Larry Crisler (Bishop Noll, 2-0) was the winning pitcher throwing the last 3 frames while striking out 3. Azar was also the only Nole with 2 hits.
