Indiana Chiefs 14U shut the door early on the All Area Giants, capturing an 11-2 victory on Wednesday at Ho Chunk.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed Indiana Chiefs 14U to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Mike Madura and a sacrifice fly by Nick Bandura during the first inning and an error in the second inning helped Indiana Chiefs 14U put some runs on the board early.

Evan Hylek boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Indiana Chiefs 14U. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.

The All Area Giants couldn't get anything going so long as Justin Ruthrauff was on the hill. The All Area Giants managed just one hit off of Ruthrauff, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Madura recorded the win for Indiana Chiefs 14U. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Indiana Chiefs 14U tacked on another three runs in the third. A sacrifice fly scored Hylek to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Mike Popp's double, scoring Alex Dobrzeniecki and Bandura.

Indiana Chiefs 14U brought home two runs in the sixth inning, and matched that run total in the seventh. In the sixth, Indiana Chiefs 14U scored on a two-run error, plating Hylek and Madura.
