Showcase Team Goes to Florida
The Hammond Chiefs showcase team will travel to Fort Myers, Florida this week to play in the World Wood Bat – World Championships. The Chiefs will play in Pool L with Baseball U, Orlando Scorpions, and South Florida Lightning. Hammond opens pool play October 8, 2010 at 1:30 pm against the South Florida Lightning. The Chiefs will end pool play action with games at 11:00 am against Baseball U and at 4:00 pm against the Orlando Scorpions at the Minnesota Twins complex.
