Seminoles Win home opener

The Hammond Seminoles opened the 2011 summer season with a 10-0 five inning win over South Holland. Leading the way offensively for the Noles was Tyler Fraley (Highland) and Dominic Albanese (Brother Rice) with two hits a piece. Fraley, Albanese, and Alex DelRio (Munster) each collected a double while Albanese also drove in two runs. Danny Pobereyko (Bishop Noll) picked up his first win of the season by going five strong innings. Pobereyko (1-0) gave up two hits, while striking out 9 and walking two.
