Chiefs 14U Sweeps Double Header at Ho Chunk

NWI Shockers Grey didn’t stand a chance on Monday, as Indiana Chiefs 14U captured a blowout 15-7 win in six innings at Ho Chunk.
Indiana Chiefs 14U scored five runs in the fourth on a walk by Troy Mead, a hit by pitch, and a three-run single by Mike Popp.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with eight lead changes.
Mike Madura was hot from the plate for Indiana Chiefs 14U. Madura went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.

Two Indiana Chiefs 14U baserunners came all the way around to score in each of the second, fifth and sixth. In the second, Indiana Chiefs 14U scored on an error, plating Jason Lamont.
NWI Shockers Grey answered Indiana Chiefs 14U’s top inning with three runs of its own in the third. NWI Shockers Grey scored on an RBI double by Luke Adams and a two-run single by Chris Moldenhauer.
Indiana Chiefs 14U tacked on another two runs in the sixth. A hit into a fielder’s choice scored Alex Dobrzeniecki to start the scoring in the inning.

Indiana Chiefs 14U shut the door early on Bridgeport Bombers Silver, capturing a 13-2 victory on Monday at Ho Chunk.
Ten runs in the first three innings allowed Indiana Chiefs 14U to put the game away early.
An RBI single by Pat Manyek, a two-run error, and an error in the first inning and an RBI double by Mike Madura, an RBI single by Nick Bandura, a groundout byTroy Mead, and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for Indiana Chiefs 14U.
Madura was solid at the plate for Indiana Chiefs 14U. Madura went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs.
Jason Lamont got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over four innings. Lamont struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.
