An RBI single by Mike Madura and a sacrifice fly by Nick Bandura during the first inning and an error in the second inning helped Indiana Chiefs 14U put some runs on the board early.
Evan Hylek boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Indiana Chiefs 14U. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.
The All Area Giants couldn’t get anything going so long as Justin Ruthrauff was on the hill. The All Area Giants managed just one hit off of Ruthrauff, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.
