GAME #1

Despite a big day at the dish from Will Kulcher, who finished 2-2, Indiana Chiefs 14U lost 11-1 to BPA Black at Fort Meyers, FL on Saturday.

Svetics recorded the win for BPA Black. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered four hits.

BPA Black was sparked by Droake and Escobar, who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.

BPA Black stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring four runs on a two-run double by Droake, a hit by pitch, and a wild pitch.

BPA Black piled on seven more runs in the top of the third. Droake kicked things off with a double, scoring Grab. That was followed up by Escobar’s double, plating Droake.

The third inning saw Indiana Chiefs 14U score its only run on the day on an RBI single by Joey O’Keefe.

Jason Lamont did all he could to give Indiana Chiefs 14U a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Kentucky Baseball Club Boggs, as Indiana Chiefs 14U lost 3-0 in five innings at Fort Meyers, FL on Wednesday.

Indiana Chiefs 14U was led by Jason’s hitting. Jason went 1-1. He singled in the second inning.

Ben Jordan got the win for Kentucky Baseball Club Boggs. He pitched five shutout innings. Ben struck out seven, walked two and gave up two hits.

Kentucky Baseball Club Boggs never trailed after scoring one run in the first on an RBI single by Ben.

Kentucky Baseball Club Boggs got one-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, Kentucky Baseball Club Boggs scored on an RBI single by Ben, bringing home Jacob Abbott.
