Chiefs Survive Lansing Redbirds in Nine Innings
The Hammond Chiefs were able to respond with 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to come from behind and win the extra inning contest against the Lansing Redbirds.? Will Sasaki picked up the win on the mound after Brandon Beason walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning?for the 6-5 victory.
