Chiefs 14U Cruises to Two Victories over Indiana Chargers Orange

Indiana Chargers Orange didn’t put up much of a fight on Sunday, as Indiana Chiefs 14U cruised to a blowout 10-3 win in seven innings at Goshen College.
Indiana Chiefs 14U scored five runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Mike Madura, an RBI double by Evan Hylek, a groundout by Justin Ruthrauff, and a two-run double by Mike Popp.
Hylek racked up two RBIs on two hits for Indiana Chiefs 14U.
Popp recorded the win for Indiana Chiefs 14U. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Indiana Chiefs 14U refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Indiana Chargers Orange, recording a 19-4 victory on Sunday at Goshen College.
With eight runs in the first three innings, Indiana Chiefs 14U left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A groundout by Mike Popp, an RBI single by Joey O’Keefe, an RBI single byBen Ostrowski, an RBI single by Pat Manyek, an RBI double by Noah Davis, an RBI single by Alex Dobrzeniecki, and an RBI triple by Troy Mead in the first inning supplied the early offense for Indiana Chiefs 14U.
Justin Ruthrauff had two extra-base hits for Indiana Chiefs 14U. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.
Indiana Chargers Orange couldn’t get anything going as long as Pat Manyek was pitching. Pat Manyek held Indiana Chargers Orange hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
